Admission Process:
Step One: Application
To get started, use the link above to submit an application. Once we receive it, you'll be invited to schedule a caregiver call with us.
We accept applications on a rolling basis. Enrollment periods for primary and toddler programs are in September and January, and enrollment for infant and young toddler programs is year-round based on availability.
Toddler and primary students accepted for the following September are welcome to attend summer camp if they are at least 18 months old at the start of camp. Should openings arise during the year, we’ll consider additional primary and toddler applicants.
Step Two: Caregiver Call
This is a chance for families to discuss what they are looking for in a program and hear about what the Children’s House offers.
Step Three: School Visit
Families are invited to see our campus and visit our classrooms.
Step Four: Enrollment
Students will be notified of acceptances or placement on the waitlist. Those students on the waitlist will be offered a spot once one becomes available.
Our admission decisions are thoughtfully made to create a balanced learning environment that supports the range of ages, gender, and diversity within our community. We aim to foster a rich, mixed-age atmosphere. In our efforts to support family connections, priority is given to siblings of current students, ensuring a sense of continuity and belonging for families within our school.

2026-2027 Tuition Schedule
Tuition covers the academic school year from September to June. All toddler and primary students must attend 5 days a week. We find that consistent five-day attendance supports the Montessori philosophy by providing the uninterrupted routines and continuity that children need to build independence, concentration, and a deep engagement with their learning environment.

Infant/Young Toddler Program
Mixed ages from 3 months to about 18 months.
Consider the Children's House of Philadelphia's infant/young toddler program as your child's home away from home. Our infant/young toddler room is a safe, caring, learning environment that nurtures your child through each emerging developmental phase as they become more engaged, curious, and independent.
At The Children’s House, the infant/young toddler program is year-round from September to August. We offer rolling admission for our infant/young toddler room based on availability. Please reach out about potential openings.
Within the Montessori-prepared environment, every child will progress at their own pace, gently guided by our dedicated caregivers. They will be introduced to age-appropriate materials and activities as their cognitive and motor skills develop. This will be a loving, communicative, and social program, all with the intention of laying a foundation for happy and enthusiastic future learning.
5 Days - 8:15am to 3:00pm - $2,050/month
5 Extended Days* - 8:15am - 5:30pm - $2,875/month
3 Days - 8:15am - 3:00pm - $1,280/month

Summer Program

Join us for summer at The Children’s House! We offer a fun and engaging mix of activities that include water play, gymnastics, music, yoga, and exciting visits from local organizations and vendors, all while building new skills and fostering creativity. With hands-on science, art, and cooking lessons each week, every day brings a new adventure for campers to explore!
Summer camp is offered to children enrolled in the previous or upcoming school year.
The summer camp is offered to children in our toddler and primary programs. During summer camp, we offer two consecutive 4-week sessions and options for 3- and 5-day-a-week schedules. Our infant program is year-round from September to August. Programming in the infant/young toddler room remains the same from June-August, with the addition of water play!

Cost per one, 4-week session. Toddlers classes are mixed age groups from approximately 18 months to 3 years old.
